Entropy is an independent directory that scores AI vendors on security posture and AI-specific transparency, so buyers can vet a tool in seconds instead of a 40-page questionnaire.

Every grade is computed from publicly observable signals — a vendor's security.txt file, HTTPS and HSTS configuration, published disclosure policy, and more — not vendor self-reporting or marketing copy. Vendors can claim their profile and submit supporting evidence (SOC 2 reports, certifications); a verification bonus lets that engagement count toward their score as capped bonus points, but the baseline grade never depends on a vendor's cooperation.

We built Entropy because procurement teams evaluating AI vendors were re-answering the same security questionnaire dozens of times, and buyers had no independent, evidence-backed way to compare vendors on security and AI-safety practices side by side.
